Director of Proposals
Silke Riegel is a proposal management professional with experience supporting federal, state and association opportunities in a variety of industries. She is responsible for managing all aspects of proposal submittal and contract coordination, from proposal review to execution of the project, working collaboratively with partners to ensure successful completion of requirements and ensuring project milestones are met. As part of her responsibilities, she provides compliance support during the proposal process as well as throughout the contract duration, fulfilling contract administrative tasks where required. While not formally part of proposal development or contracting, Silke’s organizational skills are leveraged throughout the duration of contracts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and at or beyond “spec.”
Since joining 720 Strategies, her experience in project management, combined with her organizational and writing skills, has played a direct role in creating proposals that secured wins in the defense sector, government healthcare and local government space. Clients include the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, the Library of Congress, the U.S. Army and the City of Irvine. Additionally, Silke managed special client projects including desk research, document review and the recruitment for client focus groups as part of her responsibilities.
At GreatBridge Consulting, Silke conducted research into brands and designed, administered and analyzed litigation surveys for patent and trademark cases in the consumer goods, medical devices, luxury goods, office supplies, sporting goods, food packaging, clothing, financial services, real estate, navigation systems, and aircraft parts industries. She drafted, edited and finalized expert witness testimony reports for damages in patent and trademark litigation, and was responsible for company-wide marketing projects.
Prior to joining GreatBridge Consulting, Silke supported business development activities, including opportunity identification and assessment, prospect outreach and proposal work for Pigment Communications, the Horizon Strategies Group, and the PCT Companies.
She graduated with a BS in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Silke is fluent in German.
